T. D. Ballard Bio

T.D. Ballard is long and accomplished on stage and as a writer, director, and actress. She began writing at the age of 17. It was when she wrote three winning monologues for beauty pageants, that she knew she had a gift. Her career in acting however, began with Television. While in college, T.D. Ballard co-hosted a Hip Hop talk show called Just Loungin. She enjoyed the camera so much that she began acting classes and auditions. T.D. traveled to represent The Dallas Model Group in the Model America International Talent Competition in New York, held at the famous Waldorf Astoria hotel. There she won several 1st place-acting awards out of thousands of contestants.

With all the success in New York, T.D. came back to Dallas, TX and began pursuing acting more vigorously. When she auditioned for a Christmas play at The Potter's House, and was cast as the lead character, she fell in love with the stage. T.D. Ballard has appeared and starred in Lord Speak To Me, He Ain’t My Man, Christmas Just Ain't Christmas and several others. She has written and directed several pieces such as A Place Called Hell, The Resurrection Experience, and 360 Degrees Against the Odds.

Under the direction of the Holy Spirit, Teresa has founded “It’s So Real Entertainment Group”. A group of believers that perform shows that plant seeds in hearts of “Real” people. “Real” people are those who are ready to get the log out of their own eye. “Real” people know that God draws us with love and kindness and not condemnation. “Real” people are willing to face and address the problems of the world and not sugar coat them. It’s So Real Entertainment is a cast of “Real” people, who perform “Real” plays for the “Real” world.
